ebjuris.com is glad to give you SOTD (Site Of The Day) plugin a new plugin for esyndicat 2.2. SOTD allows you to have an advertising box with a site of the day for every day of the week. This plugin allows your customers to apply to have their site displayed for a specific day of the week.
The plugin allows you do display a predefined site, random site or a message for days that are not sold.

Installation
The plugin has two parts first is install.xml file and the second is the rest of files need for the plugin to work.
login to your admin panel of your esyndicat website and click Manage Plugins then click on Install Plugin and browse to where your install.xml file is and follow the instruction. (put rest of files on your appropriate folders.

A very cool ind profitable plugins, i tried on my esyndicat but seem not to work properly. Displaying random website when I click Apply for Site of the day listing space. The application form is no where to be seen. I am still using the esyndicat 2.2 default template. Is there any solution?

this plugin should work fine with defualt template for 2.2. try going to configuration>>SOTD save it again. try that and let me know. if not email us and we will sort it out for u.

I’m also having problems getting this to work. 2.2 version with default template. I have esyndicat installed in sub directory and not root does this matter?

Michael please open your admin panel go to configuration then SOTD configuration don’t do anything just save it again. Once you do that it should work fine.

to make site of the day just show on the idex page please go to Admin Panel ยป Manage Blocks the scrol down and find Site Of The Day (SOTD) and click on edit go down and unclick all the radio buttons except Main page (first page, category browsing) (index). that will show on main page only.

My site is not up yet.
The sotd.php does not work for me, the box shows up on the home page but no matter what I do, when I click on the sotd.php (site of the day) link a blank page comes up.
All the files are upladed into the right places and I configured all the pages.
